Ramayan Elevator Companies Associations known as 'PEPL' was incorporated in 2013 and registered under Registration No.:4487/20130, A team of professionals engaged in Elevator Industry have promoted this association at Nasik, intends to provide variety of benefits and Service for public by streamlining the Elevator trade and its services. The Focus of PEPL is collaboration between the members, the users and the Government authorities.

Guideline for Preventive Maintenance.

» A - Elevator Machine Unit

* Cleaning of complete Machine unit with Motor & Gear oil condition plus level checking.
* Check Brake Assembly, carry out adjustments (if required) for all floor's accurate level in both directions.
* Check Floor level marking on main ropes.
* Check Speed governor lubrication, smooth operations & electrical switch condition.
* Check Light provision (for night work) in lift machine room. To be provided by client.
* Check Earthling points on machine & connections.

» B - Controller & All Landings

* Checking of Up & DN terminal switch operations.
* Checking of UP & DN travel operation
* Check fixing of Floor reed / gang switches & their operation
* Check Light provision in elevator shaft with all service board
* Check cleanliness of Shaft.
* Checking of Car & Counter Weight guide shoes, liner conditions & their adjustments.
* Lubrication of Retiring cam, all gates and tracks. Check Electrical & Mechanical safety, on each floor, mandatory in every visit.
* Cleaning of locks, beak contacts and lubrication. Carry out adjustment of lock beaks, if required.
* Check operation of all landing buttons, including call bookings, directional arrow, digital display indicators etc.
* Check operation of Cabin door & cabin top safety switches including Door open Bell.

» C - Elevator Shaft & All Landings

* Checking of Up & DN terminal switch operations.
* Checking of UP & DN travel operation
* Check fixing of Floor reed / gang switches & their operation
* Check Light provision in elevator shaft with all service board
* Check cleanliness of Shaft.
* Checking of Car & Counter Weight guide shoes, liner conditions & their adjustments.
* Lubrication of Retiring cam, all gates and tracks. Check Electrical & Mechanical safety, on each floor, mandatory in every visit.
* Cleaning of locks, beak contacts and lubrication. Carry out adjustment of lock beaks, if required.
* Check operation of all landing buttons, including call bookings, directional arrow, digital display indicators etc.
* Check operation of Cabin door & cabin top safety switches including Door open Bell.

» D - General Elevator Cabin

* Clean Elevator cabin.
* Check working of Tube light, Emergency light & Fan.
* Check working of Alarm, Stop button & Car gate switch.
* Check condition of Instruction, Capacity Plate & Carpet condition
* Check False ceiling condition
* Check other accessories like hand rails, telephone & mirror etc.
* Check condition & working of Cabin operation panel.

Note: In case of any defects other than above should also be rectified for safe & smooth operation of this lift.
